Smart Mapping – iRobot Roomba s9 also includes the Imprint ™ Smart Mapping technology which allows it to effectively map out the floor plan of every specific room, while also being able to detect any obstacles in its path.
Design – When it comes to design, Roomba 960 comes with larger dimensions of 13.8 inches, the height of 3.6 inches and a weight of 8.5 lbs, compared to s9’s more compact ‘’D’’ shape of 12.25 inches diameter, the height of 3.5 inches and a weight of 8.15 lbs.
Compatible with a Clean Base – If you have a Clean Base, or are thinking of getting one, Roomba s9 is the model for you since it’s compatible with the automatic bin dispenser function.
Whereas Roomba 960 completely lacks this function.
