Storage – eufy doorbell has an advantage when it comes to storage since there aren’t any subscription plans required in order to store any footage.

Instead with eufy, you’ll get up to 30 days of free local storage, while with Ring you’ll need to subscribe to Ring Protect Basic plan which includes up to 60 days worth of storage or the Ring Protect Plus which includes with Ring Alarm monitoring as well.

Electronic Chime – With eufy doorbell also comes an electronic chime included, which can play up to 8 different tunes and even includes an adjustable volume level as well.

While Ring 2 doesn’t come with a chime included, it still is compatible with Ring Chime or Ring Chime Pro which you can buy separately.

Resolution – eufy also comes out ahead with it’s improved 2K HDR vision compared to Ring’s 1080p.

Motion Detection – Both Ring 2 and eufy Doorbell come with the motion detection feature, however, eufy comes with a more advanced AI technology that can differentiate between an animal or human so you’ll receive alerts that matter.

Additionally, with eufy, you can also set motion zones to pay closer attention to specific spots for an extra layer of security.

Power Options & Installation – When it comes to power options Ring 2 is more flexible as it can be both hard-wired or battery powered.

While eufy can only be hardwired into your existing 16-24VAC doorbell wiring.

Pre-Recorded Message – You can also set 3 pre-recorded messages with your own voice which you eufy doorbell can play for your postman or even scare off a potential intruder.

While Ring 2 doesn’t include this function.

Design – In terms of size, Ring 2 comes with larger dimensions of 5.0” x 2.5” x 1.0”, compared to eufy’s smaller 4.8” x 1.7” x 0.9” measurements.

Additionally Ring comes with two aesthetic interchangeable faceplates of Satin Nickel & Venetian Bronze, while eufy comes in a single black tone option.
