Power Options – In terms of power options available Arlo Pro 2 offers 3, which includes battery, via micro USB cable, or an additional solar panel if you wish to save on energy costs.

While Blink XT2 offers both battery power and via USB cable, and lacks the solar panel addition.

However, it’s worth to keep in mind that Blink XT2 does sport a much longer battery life of up to 2 years based on usage compared to Arlo’s much shorter 3-6 months life span.

Zoom – Additionally, Arlo Pro 2 includes an 8x digital zoom which will allow you to take a closer look at a potential culprit or a license plate, while Blink XT2 lacks in that area with no zoom technology available.

Temperature Sensor – Blink XT2 also features a temperature sensor technology that allows you to check in on the temperature at home while also viewing the live-feed at the same time.
